Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Logo Embroidery Scotland collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website at http://logoembroideryscotland.com and our iOS app, “LES – Customised Clothing”.
Who We Are
Our website address is: http://logoembroideryscotland.com.
Our iOS app connects to the same Logo Embroidery Scotland WordPress and WooCommerce store so customers can browse products, build a basket, request quotes, upload artwork, and complete checkout.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and company name when you submit a quote or enquiry.
- Product, quantity, decoration, embroidery, print, sizing, and other order or quote details.
- Billing, shipping, order, and payment-related information entered during WooCommerce checkout.
- Artwork, logos, images, or files you choose to upload for quotes or order fulfilment.
- Comments or account information if you use those features on the website.
We may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and request logs where needed for site security, spam prevention, rate limiting, troubleshooting, and order processing.
iOS App
The iOS app uses WooCommerce and WordPress as the source of store information. The app reads public product, category, image, price, variation, stock, basket, and checkout information from our website.
The app stores a WooCommerce cart token on your device so your basket can continue between app launches. This token is used for app functionality and is not used for tracking.
The app does not currently include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs. It does not request camera, location, contacts, calendar, microphone, Bluetooth, or push notification permissions.
If you choose to upload artwork from your Photo Library or Files, only the selected file or photo is uploaded to us for quote, checkout, or order fulfilment purposes.
Quote Requests and Enquiries
When you submit a quote request or enquiry through the website or app, we collect the details needed to respond to your request. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, requested products, quantity, decoration method, message, and any uploaded artwork.
Quote and enquiry details may be emailed to our team and stored in WordPress as a fallback record so we can respond even if an email is missed or filtered.
Artwork Uploads
If you upload artwork, logos, images, or files through the app or website, we use them to prepare quotes, process orders, and fulfil your requested embroidery, print, or customised clothing work.
Uploaded artwork is stored on our WordPress/WooCommerce system. Staff download links are protected and require authorised WordPress or WooCommerce access.
If you upload images, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data, such as EXIF GPS information. Where included in a file, this metadata may form part of the uploaded file.
Checkout and Payments
Checkout is handled through our WooCommerce website, including when checkout is opened inside the iOS app.
During checkout, WooCommerce and our payment, shipping, tax, fulfilment, and email systems may process the information needed to complete your order. We do not use the iOS app to store full payment card details. Payment information is handled by the payment provider used at checkout.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible publicly in the context of your comment.
